The key to overcoming your fear of failure is to realize that there is no such thing as failure. Failure is simply a process of life. Without failure you could not have success.

It is said that Thomas Edison tried over 900 different designs while trying to make the lightbulb, so was he a failure?

Not at all, while some may say he failed 900 times, Edison saw it as 900 ways not to make a light bulb.

What if Edison had given up after 100, 200, 500 times? If you look at your so called failures as a learning experience, you are on your way to success.

One of the biggest problems people with anxiety face is negative thinking. The key to overcoming anxiety is changing the way you think.

Your negative thoughts are feeding your anxiety. To overcome this condition you will need to learn how to replace your negative thoughts with positive ones.

Examples of Negative Thinking:

  1. What is wrong with me.
  2. I feel like I am going Crazy
  3. What if my Anxiety gets worse.
  4. What if everyone thinks I am wierd
  5. I can’t believe I messed that up.
  6. What if I…..
  7. etc…..

Replacing these thoughts will help you to overcome your anxiety.

Positive Replacement Dialogue

  1. It’s no Big Deal
  2. I’m Ok, I’ll be Fine
  3. It’s only Anxiety…. It will go away.
  4. Of course I’m anxious, but thats ok everyone has these feeling from time to time and they will go away.

Figure out what your negative statements are and give them a replacement to tell yourself anytime you have them.
