Some people who have problems with anxiety worry that exercise will give them a panic attack. While exercise will increase your heart rate, this is totally normal and actually very good for your heart.

Start slowly even a short 30 minute walk at night can do wonders to help use up some of your nervous energy. Research has shown that a regular exercise can be a psychological and physical benefit to your body. It has been shown to help sufferers with their anxiety symptoms.

It has been know for a long time that Exercise can help prevent high blood pressure, diabetes and other diseases. Recent research also shows a link between exercise and the improvement of symptoms in conditions like depression and anxiety.

To get the benefits of Exercise researchers say that you should exercise for at least 30 minutes a day at least three to five days a week. But remember Start slow! 10 to 15 minutes at a time can help you improve mood and get started on a regular schedule of fitness.

Of course, always check with your doctor before starting any exercise regime.
